Cinema Lens Specialist


Job description:

  • Supports the sales team by conducting lens workshops, test shoots, and master classes
  • Attends trade shows and events for the specific markets
  • Creates market specific databases with the support of our new CRM system
  • Conducts interviews with Directors of Photography and takes/collects pictures for social media postings and articles
  • Reports new applications, user and customer stories to marketing department
  • Communicates closely with marketing department to push stories, whitepapers and product reviews
  • Helps marketing department to develop market specific advertisements and promotions
  • Researches cinema lens markets for size and sales potential
  • Analyzes the promotional landscape of the various market segments using search engines such as UberVu
  • Identifies important publications, blogs, influencers and opinion leaders
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of shows attended (ROI)

Requirements:

  • Able to travel to project locations, trade shows, set locations, and vendors
  • Possesses excellent communication skills, works with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and in a professional manner verbally and in writing in English
  • Good working knowledge of competitive cinema lens products
  • Exceptional customer service skills (friendly, courteous, helpful)
  • Must be computer literate and possess detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project), internet, and social networking sites
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments
  • Must be detail oriented, exhibit strong organizational skills, and demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects and deadline simultaneously
